We loved looking in the pond. We saw two ducks and looked really carefully for fish and tadpoles.

Ask Class 1 where in this picture the pigeon was having a bath.

We saw lots of different plants today. They were different shapes, sizes and colours. Some plants we knew like these daffodils others we had never seen before.

The sun shone today, we had a great day with our friends, we walked lots and learnt lots of great things.

Have you remembered the name of this tree yet it begins with m.

We found the smallest leaves at this place! We also looked for different circles, how many did we find? Sitting in the middle of the benches was a pigeon having a bath, he carried on washing while we looked around!

Ask us how many steps there were at the side of the house? How many steps did it take to walk from the tree to the bottom of the hill?

Do you know the name of this tree? The leaves and branches were very interesting and the tree was very tall.

We had such a good maths day at the gardens. We went on a walk looking for symmetrical leaves, the biggest and smallest leaves and lots of other things.

Miss.Reed saved our map it blew away in the wind, we were lost without it!

Which way do we go?

Today was Class 1's Inspiration Day at the Botanic Gardens in Leicester.
